POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

*       Candidate prepares requirements for the development of processes
related to the sourcing, transformation, storage, and provision of external
data for the purpose of managing credit losses. 
*       Synthesizes large amounts of complex data from multiple external
data providers to integrate and load into infrastructure. 
*       Strong knowledge of mortgage data and processes and the secondary
mortgage market are important to the success of this position. 
*       This position requires a person who is able to work with minimal
supervision and is able to manage multiple project assignments and competing
priorities. 
*       Individual must have strong communication skills and work to develop
strong relationships with peers, internal and external customers and IT
counterparts.

 

Responsibilities:

*       Responsible for developing requirements for the procurement and
integration of external data, serving as business lead for one or more
sub-projects, and ensuring synchronization with other simultaneous sub
projects. 
*       Responsible for creating source to target mappings.
*       Work closely with business partners to understand business processes
and gather and define effective and accurate business requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that requirements meet the needs of external and
internal users.

*       Analyze incoming data submissions from multiple sources. 
*       Work may involve the preparation and/or review of technical
specifications. 
*       Responsibilities may include establishing and monitoring project
plans, milestones, and deliverables, scheduling and facilitating meetings,
and conducting requirement reviews.
*       Develop metrics and establish benchmarks for evaluating success.

 

Qualifications:

*       A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related
field, or an equivalent combination of education and business experience.
MBA/CPA a plus.
*       Experience with and knowledge of data management.
*       A minimum of seven to ten years of progressively responsible
experience in accounting, finance, acquisitions, project management,
business operations and knowledge of secondary mortgage activities with a
minimum of three years of requirement analysis and management.
*       Successful candidate must have exceptional analytical and problem
solving abilities.
*       Successful candidate must be able to work independently and assume
responsibility for major project deliverables with minimal to no
supervision. Additionally, successful candidate must have the flexibility to
handle multiple assignments at once. 
*       Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to the
position. Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work
effectively in a team environment are required. 
*       Candidate must have an understanding of the systems development
lifecycle, including developing business requirements, designing test
scripts, and executing test plans.

Working knowledge and demonstrated use of Microsoft Access, Excel, and all
other Microsoft Software, such as, Visio, Project, etc.
