Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience as a systems engineer working with end users, operations staff and project managers preferably in a production support role. The position requires: Strong problem solving skills; the ability to understand complex systems and system execution; effective oral and written communication skills; strong mainframe skills for systems development, testing (e.g. Expeditor, FILEAID, etc.) and production support. The candidate should be able to work with a minimum of supervision, work well in a team environment, act decisively in critical situations, and use sound judgment.
