SAP BW Basis Administration and Management Support. Responsible for Basis
Support for global implementation of SAP BW and ERP modules including all
aspects of SAP Basis Administration; system installations and upgrades, problem
analysis and resolution, software patching, performance tuning, and system
testing.
Specialized/Practical Knowledge:
1. Coordinates efforts and solves technical Basis challenges for SAP
releases and production support
2. Coordination of special projects associated with Basis Administration
including; stress test management, application patching, desktop deployment,
etc...
3. SAP applications included in the landscape are R/3, BW, SRM, SCM,
Portals, SM, SLD, and xRPM with emphasis on Netweaver components.
4. Provide coordination and implementation support for SAP 3rd party
tools including intellicorp, citrix, ixos, and mercury
Complexity/Problem Solving:
1. SAP and 3rd party tool system build and maintenance documentation
2. Training materials and delivery associated with system builds and
maintenance
3. Resolution of remedy tickets and change requests
4. Documentation of updates to Basis team policy and procedures
5. Seven plus years of technical administration responsibility for an SAP
BW Technology application in a large company.
6. Experience as the primary BW Basis Administrator for SAP Applications.
