Location : Tallahassee, FL looking for local candidates, ideally Duration : 3 months Project is to move business critical databases from legacy Tru64 Unix to new HP-UX Unix servers and Oracle 9i to 10g release upgraded, all with minimum downtime. There are 28 databases to move in this project over the next 3 months, many with critical challenging interdependencies, sizes, and minimal outages allowed. We have an immediate need for an HP-UX Unix administrator to allow us to provide customer assistance in mapping scripts and features in their current legacy Tru64 environment to the new HP-UX Unix environment. The consultant will work closely with the project leadership team and lead Architect to align and plan the best mapping of current scripts and features in Tru64 environment to a new highly available clustered HP-UX environment. *Skills Required:* Advanced HP-UX Unix skills ServiceGuard clustering experience desired a plus HP-UX LVM and filesystem competencies H-PUX Kernel, Networking, Security, SAN connectivity Work must be done on site in Tallahasssee, FL. Must have a laptop for personal productivity purposes.
