Position: Exchange Administrator/Windows Admin with EXchange 2007 exp Location: Sparrows Point, MD Duration: 12+ months Rate:45/hr ONLY GC HOLDERS OR US CITIZENS Ph interview + FTF interview. They move quickly. DESCRIPTION This position will be responsible for maintaining Exchange Server 2007, BES, SPAM, and Network Fax. The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of all aspects of Windows systems administration including networking fundamentals, previous experience supporting medium to large data centers, and an aggressive, detailed approach to problem-solving with excellent communications skills. This position will also support the desktop services team. The primary duty of the position will be the administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Exchange Server 2007, BES for Exchange, SPAM filtering, and Network Fax. Candidates must also demonstrate a strong appreciation for and knowledge of best practices in maintaining a highly secure environment. ? Maintain active directory, user accounts, group policies ? Comprehensive problem solving of hardware, software, and networking issues ? Interface with users to diagnose and resolve problems ? Build and deploy server operating system images ? Resource allocation and deployment ? File system maintenance and accounting ? Report generation on usage, compliance, performance, exceptions, etc. ? Develop, test and implement disaster recovery procedures. ? Performance monitoring and optimization of DR and Production environments ? Must be able to work as a team, and also individually with little supervision MINIMUM REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE: 4 years experience with Exchange administration, monitoring and troubleshooting. SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: ? Exchange Server ? Blackberry Enterprise Server for Microsoft Exchange ? Network Fax ? Spam Filtering ? Advanced knowledge of Windows Servers (2003, 2000, NT) ? Disaster Recovery ? Active Directory ? TCP/IP ? NTFS ? MS Clustering ? Very large file systems ? Storage technologies iSCSI SAN, NAS ? Remote administration procedures, tools, commands PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE since these are preferred skills not all are must have, but some of them would be good to have ? HP/Compaq, Dell, IBM xSeries ? Firewall Administration ? Some scripting language for batch operations and maintenance jobs (VB Script or Kixtart) ? VMWare ESX or Microsoft Virtual Server ? ArcServe ? Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) ? Microsoft Systems Management Server ? Microsoft Operations Manager or Systems Center ? VPN ? Microsoft Terminal Services and Remote Desktop ?
