Location: SF, CA LOA: 12 Month Contract Description: Acts in a high-level technical role as a designer for major computer applications utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Designs platforms, writes code, and develops tests. Leads multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process. May act as project/team lead. Required Skills: Weblogic is a must Strong Performance Engineer Someone that understands Load and expert with LoadRunner Strong Oracle Analysis skills(data structures, etc) They are looking for someone who can get a result, analyze the data and guide the developers to understanding how to fix the problem. This position requires a great deal of analysis. 4 year degree, preferably in Computer Science Strong Communication is a must Self-starter and ability to work independently with little direction 5-10 years of technical experience with at least 4+ years performance engineering Excellent verbal and written communication Comfortable interacting with all levels of management and technical resources Well-developed presentation skills Proven problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently Expert level experience with Performance Center/Loadrunner is required and other performance tools like JMeter(plus) Experience with testing and tuning applications running on BEA Weblogic. Experience reading and writing in Java Experience with testing and tuning Oracle databases(understanding DB structures, System loads and how applications work around Weblogic Intermediate UNIX/Shell Scripting abilities are required Good understanding and experience with Wily Introscope(How to interpret output)? Preferred Skills: Financial Services Performance testing/tuning Exposure to(basic understanding of) online fraud detection systems Experience with JVM tuning concepts Capable of creating custom Wily pdb files(monitoring) Understanding of TCP/IP and the transportation layer Deep understanding of HTTP(transition protocol- why are there bottlenecks and point the development team to the problem and provide analysis) Please include the Phone number and email address in the email to expedite the submission process.
