Complete Description: These positions are application development positions that are recognized as technical specialists and are critical technical resources across multiple disciplines. These individuals will provide technical support, maintenance, enhancements, and new development. The Application Developers will have hands-on experience with the requisite skills to design, develop, and maintain high performance, scalable, reliable, and reusable component-based multi-tier applications using J2EE and / or webMethods, and other leading technologies. These individuals will also have experience drafting technical design documentation, writing code, conducting unit testing, and troubleshooting issues. These positions will be responsible for highly advanced technical work essential to the project life cycle of JNET’s computer applications. An individual in these positions is responsible for the analysis, planning, design, development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and documentation of highly complex applications to fulfill the needs of the JNET’s business systems which follow JNET’s business plan. Individuals in these positions are responsible for highly complex application development projects; performing advanced technical work or independent application development and maintenance of major JNET systems critical to core business functions that inoperability would significantly impact and/or impair operations. Candidates must have proven experience in a parallel application development role and will have hands-on experience with the required skills.
