*Title:* Oracle 11g Database Administrator with PS Campus Solutions *Location:* Madison, WI *Duration:* 4 months *Rate:* Open The client is newly implementing campus that is currently live on all Campus Solutions modules. Previously had been using the Datatel ERP system for 10+ years *Responsibilities:* · Coordinates physical changes to computer databases; codes, tests, and implements physical database, applying knowledge of data base management systems · Designs logical and physical databases reviews description of changes to database design to understand how changes to be made affect physical data base (how data is stored in terms of physical characteristics, such as location, amount of space, and access method) · Codes database descriptions and specifies identifiers of database to database management system or directs others in coding database descriptions · Specifies user access level for each segment of one or more data items, such as insert, replace, retrieve, or delete data · Tests and corrects errors, and refines changes to database · Enters codes to create production data base · Selects and enters codes of utility program to monitor database performance, such as distribution of records and amount of available memory · Directs programmers and analysts to make changes to data base management system · Reviews and corrects programs · Modifies data base programs to increase processing performance, referred to as performance tuning · Workers typically specialize in one or more types of data base management systems · May train users *Required:* · Oracle Database Administrator capabilities with 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks · Must possess 7+ years of database tuning and maintenance experience to assure highest level of system availability and performance · Expertise with Oracle 11g database and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) · The client is currently running *PeopleSoft Campus Solutions v9 on Oracle 11g* on a Microsoft operating system using RAC (Real Application Cluster)/ASM and EM (Enterprise Manager) · Candidate should have in depth knowledge of the PeopleSoft 9 Student Systems Campus Solutions, 2 years · Passing a *criminal background check* is required -- Thanks and Regards, Maddy Technical Recruiter 3 L’Amour CT, Dayton,NJ – 08810 | P: 201-221-3016 | F: 201-603-1326 | Web: www.augustuss.com Yahoo IM: maddy.recruiter1 Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
