Hi Partner, Position: Sr. QA Analyst (MUST BE LOCAL)
Where: SF, CA LOA: 6 Months+ My client is looking for a Sr. Systems QA Analyst with hands-on experience creating and managing test data. I have a series of qualifying questions to ask each candidate that is qualified for this position. COMMUNICATION MUST BE A 9 OR 10 OUT OF 10..... Description: Uses advanced knowledge in the creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans and test scripts. Works with client to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to resolve questions during the testing process. May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project. Analyzes, tests, and certifies application-specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents. Uses knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving complex test problems. Participates in planning and directing quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all phases of QA process. Researches new products and industry methodologies and provide inputs in the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. May be responsible for designing and distributing training materials. Data analysis, customer service, testing and troubleshooting expertise Providing excellent customer service by consulting with QA Analysts, Business Analysts, Developers and Product Managers to insure that they have the right test data for their needs Supporting several different development and testing groups on a daily basis by reviewing and fulfilling test data requests, investigating and resolving reported data related testing problems, troubleshooting the data used for those tests when they fail, and identifying and correcting the test data found to be causing the test failures Required Skills: Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in customer support, customer service and/or consultant roles, with excellent people skills, patience and approachability. Creating, conditioning and maintaining complex test data in many Enterprise systems Becoming proficient in and fully understanding a wide variety of internal systems/applications and external systems/applications Familiarity with and use of several test management, document management and incident reporting tool Highly organized, able to logically catalogue large quantities of varied information from various sources and reference them as needed to analyze and resolve issues Strong experience in requirements analysis, use case analysis Quickly able to understand complex system and data relationships, business requirements, project processes Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficient in Rational Software's ClearCase and ClearQuest, HP Quality Center, Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word and Excel) Proven ability to manage numerous concurrent projects or tasks Proven ability to quickly learn complex software applications Experience in QA test development and execution Must thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving work environment Can work cooperatively in a team and influence group decisions Experience training and/or mentoring other team members Minimum 7 years relevant experience applying the above skills and knowledge in some or all of the following software environments: Product Development, QA/Testing, Project Management, Release Management, Customer Support) Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Desired Skills: SQL knowledge and experience Proficient in EnableSoft Foxtrot Enterprise LE Thanks Sam 301 933 9711 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: *If you wished to be removed from our mailing list, please reply back with "Remove" in the subject line* --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
