Description:
We received 4 (possibly 5) openings today for SharePoint Developers and I
wanted to see if you had any candidates for this 2 month contact (extensions
are possible but 2 months is the initial term of the engagement).
The location is in Denver and candidates with current C# / ASP.NET /
SharePoint 2007 are required.
Following find the details for your review and our client is stressing the
need for a very competitive rate.
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) has been evaluated and
selected by client to provide enterprise content management, enterprise
search, collaboration, document management, and business processes and
forms. Upon successful implementation, MOSS will replace the following
products currently in use by client: eRoom for Collaboration; Documentum for
Document Management; Autonomy IDOL for Distributed Content Search; and
Vignette Epicentric Portal for client's intranet portal. Client also has
several Java applications that will be migrated to the MOSS platform. Client
is seeking a SharePoint / .NET Developer to assist client as a technical
resource in the overall implementation of MOSS and in the development of
custom .NET web parts to support the rollout of the client employee intranet
portal. The candidate will work in collaboration with the existing client
Enterprise Portal team including external consultants.
Responsibilities:
Complete product development lifecycle of ASP.Net applications, including
participation in requirements gathering, application design, developing
code, testing, deployment and maintenance. Contribute to the design and
implementation of long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans
for managing and maintaining a SharePoint 2007 environment. Effectively
interact with business, technology, and vendor team members Maintain,
support, debug, and enhance existing web applications. Work with business
stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate progress. Write and
maintain software documentation.
Qualification:
Over 5 years experience designing and developing web-based applications
using C# and ASP.Net. Experience using JavaScript, SQL, Stored Procedures
and other web-presentation technologies. Ability to work efficiently and
meet project deadlines with minimal supervision. Ability to analyze business
problems and provide accurate development estimates. Excellent communication
skills and experience working with business stakeholders and technical team.
Portal design and implementation experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other degree with relevant
experience from an accredited college/university Five years of experience
with Web design (public and intranet/extranet) and programming proficiency
in HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, C#, XML/XSL and strong Microsoft SharePoint skills
Experience with creating, connecting, and customizing web parts Solid
working knowledge of current Internet technologies
