Position #1 19109 SSIS/SQL Developer Location: Herndon, VA Description: • Participate with team of technical staff and business managers or practitioners in the business unit to determine systems requirements and functionalities needed in large/complex development project. • Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements. • Develop code; perform reviews to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development. Analyze application for data integrity issues. • Develop Unit test cases and perform Unit testing of assigned components • Serve as a lead technical staff by providing architectural direction around high performance MS SQL database based development • Ability to analyze and resolve performance issue with database code involving SSIS and MS SQL DB • Perform production support for application on as needed basis • Ability to understand and support install/upgrades of Third Party Software Must have skills 1- Expert in SSIS, MS SQL server and SQL programming 2- Expert at query tuning and optimizing database code and developing batch processing jobs. 3- Knowledge of Rational Clear Case, Clear quest, Autosys, Windows security Additional Skills 1- Knowledge of financial instruments such as Mortgage, bonds, MBS etc preferred 2- Working knowledge of J2EE programming, XML, TIBCO and ANT 3- Working Knowledge of Reporting tools such as Business Objects or Crystal Reports 8+ years of experience in programming, application development Position#2 Java Developer 19110 Location:Herndon, VA Description: • Participate with team of technical staff and business managers or practitioners in the business unit to determine systems requirements and functionalities needed in large/complex development project. • Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. The candidate may also be required to train end users. Knowledge of and experience testing Financial Applications. Experience with backend testing, strong SQL, and UNIX skills are required. Experience testing AbInitio and TIBCO is a plus. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is also desired. What we're looking for: 1. Hands on-system tester. 2. Strong UNIX and SQL Skills. 3. Experience with AbInitio and TIBCO is a plus Strong knowledge of Testing Processes Experience with various Testing Tools Test Case & Defect management - Quality Center Rational Requisite Pro - Requirements Management Experience with backend testing, strong SQL skills and knowledge of Debt and Derivative products is required. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is desired. What we're looking for: 1. Hands on-system tester with knowledge of DEBT and Derivatives. 2a. Experience with Summit Application. 2b.
