Data Analyst Location - Springfield, MA Experience Level - 5+ Yrs Duration - Long Term Contract Rate - Keep It Low Start - Immediate Must Have Skills: Domain: Good understanding of Asset & Wealth Management concepts, practices, knowledge of all asset types, knowledge of investment products and their operation fundamentals Technical: Strong in PL-SQL (ideally SQL Server 2005), good in analysis and debugging data related issues, have exposure to some data warehouse BI tool. Job Roles / Responsibilities: . Ongoing Data Quality Maintenance: o Review, develop and maintain reconciliation reports and data edits o Work with data owners to correct data errors and identify necessary workflow and /or systems changes o Notify downstream users of data issues, impacts of the issues and upcoming changes o Respond to data issues that arise by researching, understanding causes of problems and possible corrective action and developing short-term and long-term solutions . Business Owners of the Data Warehouse, Operational Data Store and Supporting Applications: o Identify impacts of changes to data owners and downstream users o Specify, test and signoff on related systems changes o Coordinate and approve structure and data changes to the enterprise metadata tables o Maintain business data dictionaries for the data warehouse and enterprise metadata tables o Document changes to operational workflow impacting enterprise data and changes to business rules applicable to enterprise data .
