From Prodigy Software Group Inc *Requirement:* Title:* C++/C# Developer* Location: Durham, NC Duration: 6 Month Rate: $40/hr *Description:* As a Developer, you will be primarily responsible for handling the development and support needs of in-house applications catering to the trading and risk management functionalities of Mortgage Backed Securities. You should be able to understand thoroughly the end-to-end application development methodology, become fully conversant with all tools to provide effective end-to-end application support. There are multiple components built using C++/C# that used TIBCO based EMS for communicating between each others. Since the applications data store if Oracle (Risk management) and Sybase (trading), a thorough knowledge of SQL is also one of the qualifying criteria. *Required skills:* · 7+ year’s professional IT experience as a Developer · 4+ years with C# · 2+ years with C++ · Expert in .NET framework using C# · Has experience of the software development lifecycle. · Has a continued desire to work across multiple projects whenever there is a requirement. · Ability to coordinate cohesively with the development/support/business analysis team Willingness and enthusiasm to perform in this specific role that is a combination of developer and support specialist. · SQL’s / Stored Procedures using Sybase, Oracle or SQL Server · Understanding Mortgage Backed Securities and Structured Products business · Understanding of Fixed Income · Understanding front to back Trading system · Excellent communicating skills and experience supporting end users with their day-to-days issues.
