Please share me profile at shi...@erostechnologies.com *Need Local consultant* *Business Intelligence Analyst* *Los Angeles, California.* *12+Months* Description: The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for working with internal customers to define data and reporting requirements. A business intelligence analyst at our Company must be savvy in budgeting and forecasting processes as well as data warehousing environments. Ideal analysts will be proactive in designing and analyzing data requests to help drive business decisions. Responsibilities: * Consult with internal customers to understand business goals and assess their information needs. * Translate business goals and information needs into business intelligence solutions. * Document business process and data flow visualizations using Microsoft Visio * Test solutions for accuracy of data and reliability of performance. * Provide documentation, training and guidance to customers as needed. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues with reports, data and BI Tools. * Develop, document, and maintain business data and reporting requirements * Participate in BI activities; perform ad hoc analyses as well as qualitative and quantitative research to support business and client initiatives. * Participate in meetings with end-users and IT teams * Gather and prioritize business requirements * Create user documentation for reports and enhancements to a budgeting/forecasting process Requirements: * 5+ years working in a Corporate environment, with a financial focus * Experience working with BI tools such as CognosBI and Business Objects * Experience with data warehouse design and application concepts. * Working knowledge of data visualization tools (Qlik, Tableau, MicroStrategies) * Excellent Microsoft Office skills (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project) * Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including knowledge of macros and creating data templates * Familiarity with data manipulation, transformation and visualization * Basic knowledge of Cognos BI, Tableau and other BI tools. * Basic knowledge SQL and relational and multidimensional designs * Ability to write basic SQL * Knowledge of IBM TM1 is strongly preferred * Experience in data analysis and reporting, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously * Strong project management skills * Proven ability to meet tight deadlines * Self-motivated for continuous improvement * Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. * Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Business Administration or equivalent experience required.
