Location: Redmond, WA BI Architect Rate: $60/hr All Inclusive Skills & Requirements With 10+ years experience in BI Reporting and need to have exposure to leading BI tools, Databases/Data warehouses in market & how do they differ from each other. Understand business needs, current vs target BI/DW architecture/platforms, define/visualize database architecture, foresee future reporting needs and guide teams accordingly Should have expertise in defining project estimates, create work plan, and anticipate risks/assumptions. Develop a practical roadmap for an enterprise-wide BI reporting and analytics platform. Define the overall reporting architecture Recommend appropriate technologies to support the implementation of the reporting roadmap. Work with the data architect to insure that logical and physical data models support the analytic needs of the business. Provide BI technical and architectural guidance to projects and teams, ensuring that new initiatives enable effective data reporting. Should have experience in over all BI architecture, creating quick POC solutions around business requirements/problems. As a BI Architect, should be expert in building the program roadmaps, defining security patterns and mobility solutions and set best practices on need basis. Define & Maintain BI design patterns, standards, frameworks, reporting templates, analyze & suggest/guide solutions on various BI/DW problem statements. Need to have capabilities to explore new product versions & features and define/suggest roadmaps/improvements to business/development teams. Hands-on experience on integrating prompted reports/interactive dashboards to external web applications and portals with dynamic/derived/embedded security definitions.
