Role: Tableau BI Consultant Location: Remote. Duration: 2 month contract Interview: Telephonic Need Only GC OR USC Overview: Tableau BI Consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing processes, queries, and layouts for reporting and displaying business or operational results from structured data in relational databases. The client is building a class 2 medical mobile device for patients with bi-polar, schizophrenia and depression. The product is in FDA review and we are looking to help our client with data visualization. Their tool of choice is Tableau and it will be used to either (a) Create custom reports and dashboards (b) Modify and administer changes to existing reports and dashboards and (c) architect data visualization strategy to maximize the usage and decision making associated with data coming through the system. The information will be used by client management as well as 3rd party clinical support call centers Requirements: 1. Must have 3-5 years of experience in analyzing data from, and querying relational databases, building reports and presentations in BI/Analytics reporting tools * Converts business requirements & specifications into Tableau presentation {reports & dashboards} and data layer application solutions through effective design, coding and testing to enable and support managing operating systems related to inventory, cycle time, quality, and productivity visualizations. * End-to-end Tableau Designer (v9+) expertise from dashboard design/development to deployment/maintenance. Hands-on skills with use of action filters, user filters, advanced navigation techniques, Level-of-Detail (LOD) expressions * Hands-on skills and deep experience working with the latest Tableau Server version, its Administration and the Maintenance. Experience working with Extracts, Live datasets, managing access privileges. Familiarity with Tableau SDK architecture 2. Design reporting and presentation tables from a variety of data sources, both static or live streaming 3. Perform data analyses on, or discovery new uses for existing data sources 4. Design and implement statistical data quality procedures for new data sources or its derivative 5. Must be able to report findings from data creatively in a variety of tabular and/or visual formats that appropriately provides insights to the organization 6. Ability to prepare concise internal documentation on chart/dashboard development and revisions. Prepare user documentation and FAQs for operational instruction manuals as required 7. Conveys problems, solutions, updates and project status to peers, customers and management. Develops and maintains program, systems and user documentation 8. Experience leading a sizeable web-based analytics project using Tableau will be a plus 9. Tableau certification will be a plus 10. Healthcare experience will be a plus.
