This position will coordinate and conduct API software testing with firms and software vendors, and act as a liaison between the firm’s developers. *Responsibilities:* • Coordinate via phone and email CMI, FIX, Compass, SNA, ITP, CMS/IP, RTC, RTC/IP, MMHH, and VQI development and production testing with firms and software vendors. • Work with networking, hardware, systems operations, help desk, development staff, trading operations, and systems assurance test groups to troubleshoot firm API software issues • Maintain records of communications and testing results with API users • Write and maintain API test plan documentation *Qualifications:* • Minimum of 3-5+ years preferred experience in software quality assurance / testing (includes developing manual test plans and test cases and executing manual tests) of electronic trading system • Strong emphasis on customer service and troubleshooting skills • Previous testing experience at equity, futures or options exchange is highlight preferred • Experience in GUI based testing • Ability to research and analyze business requirements, API documentation, and the impact of these issues on their systems • Demonstrated ability to handle multi-tasking, time management, attention to detail, and priority setting • Must be a self-starter and able to work in a team setting • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills • PC skills must include proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook Preferred Skills • Experience working with the CMi, FIX, Compass, CMS/IP, RTC, RTC/IP, MMHH, and VQI interfaces is a plu -- Thanks & Regards, *Ajay K.
