Role: .Net Developer Duration: Above 4 months Location: New York, NY 10038 Only Local Candidates with GC/EAD-GC/USC SCOPE OF SERVICES The Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH) seek to hire a candidate who will be a Leader responsible for participating in requirements analysis, test planning and testing a web application integrated with a legacy internal system for the primary case management and adjudication application ATAS. Test activities include strategy, planning as well as actual testing. The position requires the individual work under pressure, adhere to deadlines and deliver a quality product at the conclusion of the engagement. Candidate will be supporting a new as well as an existing product to plan and execute tests, develop detail test cases and test matrices to ensure quality of products delivered to our customers. Candidate will need to understand business requirements and/or product design considerations to develop test requirements, test plans and test cases. The Test Cases must validate that applications operate according to the functional and technical specifications and business rules as defined by the Users. Develop Defect Tracking SOP to define the process for capturing, inputting data, and reporting of defects discovered during software testing to establish a baseline standard from which project and test teams can build upon and customize to suit project and customer needs. Develop and Implement defect prevention process and procedures. Draft process improvement guidelines; recommend a road map for centralizing QA functions across BI. Design the Automated testing.” MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 1. 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging new application and enhancements to existing software product. 2. 4+ years of experience in STL, and Data structures, OOPS, design patterns. Developed own Generic algorithms, integrators, DS, Software development and Product management tools 3. 3+ Web development using ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, Ajax, Entity Framework, LINQ. 4. 3+ years’ experience with SQL Server and stored procedure development(T-SQL) 5. 3+ years’ experience with Web Services and Windows services. Experience must include knowledge of OLE programming and multimedia programming (image and audio) is strongly desired. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: • Good English verbal and writing, communication, analytical, collaboration skills and should be a team player. • The candidate should be familiar with agile software development practices and have excellent task management skills. • In addition, knowledge of design patterns, SOA, Open Source technologies is desirable • Experience developing Case Management systems. • Knowledge of Android Open mobile application development platform using Java. • Developed Stuffit plug-Ins for Microsoft office and adobe Photoshop, using VC++, and C#. • Strong conceptual knowledge of socket programming, Synchronization, IPC using mutex and semaphores message queues. • Experience in digitizing voice recordings. • Experience with API development, MQ Series, and at least one programming language. • Experience using DTS, SSIS, and T-SQL in a Microsoft development environment. • Demonstrate ability to write T-SQL queries to fulfill ad-hoc requests and data integrity checking; demonstrated ability to write T-SQL stored procedures for code re-use.
