Here’s the job description of the new job opportunity that we have in El
Segundo, CA. please do not send anyone who’s currently working in a

In this role you will be a hands on Project Manager for the Enterprise
project management team. You’ll work with a cross functional team to ensure
that projects are within scope, within budget and tracking to be delivered
on time. You will help provide transparency into projects and the work
being done by the project teams and business partners. In short, you will
be the key “go-to” person for the project team and will play an integral
part in helping us deliver amazing products.
About you:
· You are an excellent communicator who understands and effectively
utilizes the art of clear and concise, yet enthusiastic, written and verbal
messaging
· You are an obsessive list maker and task master who gets great
pleasure from keeping others organized, communicating with both technical
and business types, and ensuring your projects are delivered on time
· You can write specs, understand technical requirements and are
able to guide a product or technical based project from conception to launch
· You take the initiative to keep projects moving and have a sense
of urgency when it comes to meeting deadlines
· You think beyond the current month’s activities to proactively
ensure future roadmap initiatives are being properly considered and planned
for, risks are mitigated, and that key requirements and business value
drive delivery decisions
· You are not afraid to ask “why?” get into the details, or
challenge a decision or recommendation from a team member: you are a
trusted advisor--not an order taker
· You are an optimistic and passionate leader who inspires project
teams and resources to be transparent, proactive, accountable, and perform
at an optimum level by leveraging their strengths
What you’ll do:
· Manage and report on schedules, project scope, assets, and
overall project organization to ensure requirements and project delivery
dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon
· Take point on key projects and issues and drive them to resolution
· Manage and become a respected leader of a cross-functional team
in a highly matrixed organization
· Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to
foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to
address them in advance
· Consistently and proactively identify needs that others may not
recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to key objectives
and future needs
· Communicate and document project status and strategic
recommendations to team members and senior management on a regular basis;
escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels
· Conduct project pre and post mortems and proactively identify
opportunities for improvement to all process and tools used in the
execution of project activities
· Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria
to stakeholders and team members while providing motivation, direction, and
overall feedback to teams.
