*Title: Escalation Engineer – Java Production SupportDuration: 12 Months (Extendable)Location: Sunnyvale, CA* Essential Job Duties • Hands on IT support Engineer for customer facing portals and fix the issue for trouble shooting and fixing the issue. • Need JAVA knowledge is a must… • Install and configure application software on servers. • Perform upgrades and apply patches • Ensure proper backup and recovery of application data • Monitor performance of ECP application • Create and maintain systems documentation and SOPs. • Champion improvements to existing support process • Participates in 24x7x365 on-call rotation to support IT systems. • Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management. Desired Skills and Experience • 5- 7 years' Experience supporting the development, test, and production environments for in-house developed software • Excellent software debugging , troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Ability to demonstrate experience and expertise with strong skills in Java / J2EE • Ability to demonstrate expertise in JavaScript/HTML/CSS • Ability to demonstrate expertise in application/web server technologies - WebLogic , Tomcat is highly desirable • Expertise in Linux operating systems, file systems , security and server software • Advanced knowledge of build and deployment automation • Self-directed and able to work independently under minimum supervision • Effective time management, adaptable to changing priorities and capable of managing multiple projects on the same timeline • Drives a customer-focused culture, committed to continuous improvement.
