Role: QA Tester Duration: Above 4 Months Location: Brooklyn, NY Only Candidates with GC/EAD-GC/USC SCOPE OF SERVICES: · Learn NYC Business application functionality and DOITT application delivery standards and procedures. · Contribute to review of the requirements and other project design and planning documents in collaboration with Project Manager, Business Analyst, Development team, staff QA lead, provide QA comments and sign off. · Develop test strategy and test scenarios for testing assigned NYC Business components. · Load and maintain requirements and test scripts into the Quality Center. · Maintain necessary documentation in SharePoint project site. · Acquire / create / verify test data. · Execute test cases according to test plan. · Work with project teams to track, report and resolve defects using Quality Center. · Assist support team in the deployments. · Contribute to identifying appropriate test cases for sanity testing, regression testing. · Identify test scenarios suitable for test automation and automate them where applicable. · Contribute to identifying scenarios for performance testing. · Make sure all assigned tasks’ status is properly reported and documented. · Execute all other QA tasks in the SDLC process. · Attend project team meetings as necessary. · Test Strategy & test plan. · Detailed Test Cases. · Test Scripts. · Traceability matrix. · Test estimates. · Progress report for test execution. · Defect report.
