Position: *Usability Engineer* Location: *Secaucus**, New Jersey***
Duration: *2 Months* Rare: $45-48/hr all inclusive on C2C * * *Job Description:* Global Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program is seeking a Usability Engineer to augment their team of Business Analysts and Usability experts. The Usability Engineer will be involved in developing/supporting prototypes, heuristic evaluations, usability testing sessions and other usability activities *RESPONSIBILITIES: * ► Create mockups, wireframes and interactive prototypes to demonstrate application functionality. ► Must be familiar with wireframing/prototyping tools such as Axure, Visio, Ilustrator ► Perform heuristic evaluations/Visual Identity reviews of the application on a periodic basis as it is being coded ► Execute usability testing sessions including planning, data collection, analysis and reporting ► Document user interface specifications for the development team ► Develop reusable user interaction design patterns. In addition, other usability analysis activities could include: ► Gather business requirements by conducting focus groups, user interviews, surveys and brainstorming sessions ► Analyze user needs by performing task analysis, field studies and contextual inquiries ► Perform heuristic evaluations/Visual Identity reviews of the application on a periodic basis as it is being coded ► Create user profiles and develop personas ► Develop and document storyboards, high-level worflows and usage scenarios ► Perform information organization activities such as card-sorting and sitemapping *OTHER REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES: * * Excellent interpersonal, communications skills * Sound judgment and tact * Ability to lead/conduct/facilitate design sessions * Ability to work effectively with customers, management and technical staff *OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * * Must be able to travel up to 20%. Travel could include international travel. * Should have exposure to custom development and package implementations. * Should be accustomed to working in large IT organizations using matrixed project staffing models. * Must have demonstrated experience in supporting the Usability Enigneering needs for globally dispersed users. * Experience with customer relationship management solutions would be a PLUS.
