Clinet is in the planning stage of a major initiative which involves the
implementation of several PeopleSoft Enterprise modules.  Client is seeking
an experienced consultant who has the business acumen and PeopleSoft
application experience to assist in the first phase of this initiative
(Analysis and Preparation).  The selected consultant will be expected to be
a subject matter expert, supporting client leadership, in planning for the
business adaptation and integration of the targeted PeopleSoft SRM suite
modules.



REQUIRED



·        In-depth knowledge of ERP best practices and able to translate ERP
best practices into a business vision/process

·        Strategic thinker; strategic planning experience for enterprise
Supply Chain Management.

·        5+ years business process re-engineering experience.  Able to
assess business area impacts including business processes, organization, and
responsibilities.

·        3+ years tactical, hands-on experience integrating and enabling
Oracle (PS Enterprise) modules in a major corporation including Services
Procurement, eProcurement, e-Supplier Connection, Supplier Contracts,
Strategic Sourcing

·        8+ years of relevant work experience in enterprise-level
application deployment

·        Experience leading the enablement of Oracle (PS Enterprise) modules
in a major corporation

·        Experience aligning business processes and technology across an
enterprise’s organizational verticals.

·        Business modeling experience (logical and physical)

·        Experience in overseeing a 3rd party ERP implementation on behalf
of a major corporation

·        Strong services procurement background

·        Experience interfacing with senior executives to address strategic,
tactical and organizational issues while aligning and developing appropriate
information technology (IT) solutions.

·        Able to effectively manage conflict and issues for resolution.
Experience in overcoming cultural resistance and enabling cultural
transition.

·        Professional in every regard; politically savvy, and understands
corporate political dynamics; top communicator

·        Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred



PREFERRED



·        Healthcare payer experience; understands healthcare payer terms,
products

·        Knowledge/experience of Ariba Procure to Pay and other Ariba
modules

·        Experience administering formal training and development of
training plans

·        Financial background with specific understanding of GL, AP

·        Extensive experience in information technology, accounting and/or
finance

·        Experience in planning and executing legacy system retirement
strategies within a large enterprise

·        Knowledge of ERP infrastructure planning

·        Certified PeopleSoft Consultant preferred

future state vision tied to industry best practices/benchmarks and targeted
business outcomes

·        Executive level presentation(s)

·        Implementation phase RFP business requirements and associated
evaluation model

·        Business systems retirement strategy and roadmap for retiring
systems



ASSUMPTIONS



·        Analysis and Preparation phase May – August, 2010.  Implementation
phase completed in 2011.

·        Future state vision and processes will be aligned with industry
best practices as reflected within PS Enterprise solution.

·        Business process change is strongly preferred over software
customization. These customizations are expected to be minimal and
controlled through an executive oversight committee.
