*Description:* Our client is seeking to fill a need for a short term Programmer/Analyst to convert a complex program for creating a core GIS dataset representing the system network. This involves merging data from various spatial and nonspatial sources, calculating 3D surfaces, creating routing information for multiple routes associated with single geometries, and calculating milepost values for each route. Some spatial data is being migrated from the current multi-geodatabase environment, to a single enterprise geodatabase, multi-editor environment.
This effort involves the following main responsibilities; • Work with primary customers to determine output requirements and updated user interface • Analyze requirements and issues • Convert current complex programs from VB to C#; 4 • Optimize processes for output generation (better speed, increased quality assurance checks • More automated medadata generation at processing time • Perform tests, QA/QC, and verification of the end product in the publication environment • Automate publication scripts. *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:* Required: • Extensive hands on experience with C# in the ArcGIS application environment • Extensive experience with linear referencing, networks and versioned environments as they relate to ESRI applications • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret organizational and procedural problems in order to make recommendations and alterations to existing procedures • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form is required • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is required. -- Justin Joshi |Solomons International (Formerly BusinEssence Solutions)| Fax:(215)-565-2509| www.
