We have urgent requirement of WebLogic Admin in Long Island, NY
WebLogic Admin
Location: Long Island, NY
Duration:- 18 months
*WebLogic Administrator*
Under general direction of manager perform Weblogic administration tasks
including: installation, configuration, logical and physical design,
backup/restore, core services configuration and support, develop technical
action plans and project schedules for deployment. Maintain and investigate
performance improvement of java applications. Insure compliance with
strategic architecture and general computer controls.
Experience on multiple hardware platforms and operating systems
(UNIX, Windows, Novell). Minimum 5 years as a Weblogic administrator.
Previous experience in Open Systems environment is essential. Strong
knowledge of Weblogic administration in UNIX operating environments.
Knowledge of client server technology (application server, etc) and
networking concepts; able to provide tech assistance, design and implement
improved methods and procedures for troubleshooting and researching
problem. Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent work
experience. Possess excellent analytical and decision making skills.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess
outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills. Flexible working hours.
Required to participate in an on call rotation (includes evenings, weekends
and occasional holidays). Must work in fast paced environment. Team oriented
and able to learn. 7 people on the team.
