Hope you are doing very well! we are looking for Business Objects WEBI Report Developer for our Direct client located at Washington DC Position: Business Objects WEBI Report Developer Location: Washington DC Duration: 6 months SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Assist with the on-going deployment of Business Objects solutions within the Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (BI COE). The reports developer will have to have firm grasp of a variety of BI related technologies including Business Objects, WebIntelligence, Crystal Reports, and Xcelsius. In addition the reports developer will have to have an understanding of a variety of database platforms including Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Informix. The reports developer will construct Web Intelligence reports, Crystal Reports and Xcelsius dashboards. Further the reports developer will be involved with the full life-cycle of numerous concurrent BI initiatives and will conduct end-user support. MUST HAVE SKILLS: • At least 5 years of IT consulting experience • Excellent verbal and written skills • At least 2 years of experience working with Business Objects, including with release XI 3.1 • At least 2 full implementation lifecycle of Business Objects XI • Ability to work independently • Advanced knowledge of WebIntelligence, Crystal Reports, and Xcelsius. • Knowledge of SQL • Knowledge of a variety of databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and Informix • Ability to travel on a limited basis EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Systems Engineering, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. WORK EXPERIENCE: Business Intelligence (BI) architecture experience including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and support of Business Objects analytical reports and dashboards. Experience with the Business Objects produce suite including Universe design, Crystal Reports, Xcelsius, and Web Intelligence. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Highly effective team player who enjoys working across many organizational lines and levels, and functions well in a matrix environment. Demonstrated experience in deriving business rules and data requirements toward BI environment solutions and deliverables. High output, organized individual capable of working on numerous concurrent initiatives. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: none.
