Consults with and advises senior management and multiple clients on high impact data or database management issues, influencing strategic direction. Handles and leads various large-scale or highly complex data/database management activities including one or more of the following: designing highly complex logical and/or physical databases; leading highly complex data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning efforts; developing management policies, procedures and standards; and business requirements identification, analysis and development. Provides mentoring, guidance and general oversight to less experienced staff in a variety of database design, administration and! /or modeling activities. Leads complex projects. Database Administrator that can be on-call to cover first response problem tickets for DBMS from Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase and also who can cover patching on Windows and UNIX systems. *Looking for their strength to be in Oracle Database Administration or MS SQL Server and they need to have some experience with Sybase* so they can at least look into problems. *Perl scripting knowledge* is important as that is our infrastructure script syntax, willing to train them on the processes but not on technical abilities of their job. Primary project they will support is Repository Framework (imaging environment).
