CLIENT WILL CONDUCT A IN-PERSON INTERVIEW* *Location: San Clemente, CA Duration: 6 months* *Description:** - Responsible for analysis, design, coding and testing of new applications or enhancements to existing applications using **Java-based technologies, including Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, and Servlets**. - Client requires the assistance with **Design and Development (XML/XSL/FO, Java, J2EE skills) for Front End Automation Initiative in San Juan Capistrano. (Web Developer).** - The developer will be responsible for the development of the sample management system for Client. - This will include general screen layout and development, web application framework development, and the creation of UML sequence diagrams for each functional use case defined. - The application will need be portable to other business units and not dependant on one communication protocol. - The developer was be required to build the solution using the industry standard J2EE best practices. - Client will assign 1 consultant to this project. - The contractors agree to provide Client with weekly written time and activity reports in a mutually agreeable format. The information in the report should contain, at a minimum, the following: - Name and reporting period. - Accomplishments for the week against planned goals and objectives. - Major milestones achieved. - Major milestones missed/slipped (what/why/new dates). - Critical issues. - Additional unplanned activities and accomplishments. - Planned goals and objectives for next week. * *Required Skills:** - Must be able to apply SDLC concept and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. - Must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming. - Strong communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners. - 3-5 years of prior Java development experience required.
