*Title: C++ Unix Developer* *Position : *Plano,TX* Duration: *6 months *Summary* Strong programming and problem solving skills. Resume should reflect recent experience in C++, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and development experience in real time, embedded, multithreaded applications with Unix OS. Exposure to 3G/4G networks and knowledge of fixed/mobile network protocols are considered a plus. *Duties and responsibilities* - Develop leading edge real-time monitoring applications for telecommunications and data network - Under the guidance of the Architect, provide design, recommend solutions and alternatives for a complex problem - Produce reliable Level of Effort estimates for smaller tasks. - Implement chosen solution in Agile Development environment. - Produce necessary documentation to reflect changes. *Required skills* - 7+ years of Software Development experience in C++ for UNIX. - 5+ years of Telecom experience with 2G/3G/4G mobile networks. - Strong problem solving skills - Good understanding of OOAD and exposure to design tools and design patterns. - Experience in scripting (Python, Perl, shell). - Experience of working in Agile Development environment. - Fluency with version control tools (CVS, Subversion). *Other qualifications* - BS or MS in Computer Science.
