Title:-  Facets Tester
Location:- Upstate, New York
Duration: 6+ Months

Under the direction of the Manger - IT Testing:
Delivers quality functionality within specified timeframes; using the
HP suite of tools which includes Quality Center, to support testing on
projects.

Essential Assignment Functions:

       Participates in requirements gathering/reviews, and designs,
develops and executes manual test plans to ensure the quality of
client’s core applications and systems
       Documents defects and works with developers, business users and
project team to resolve issues.
       Serves as an integral member of an enterprise-wide testing team, and
is responsible for following established standards and best practices,
and reporting testing results clearly and accurately.
       Provides assistance to IT personnel and business partners in the use
of templates and tools
       Leads the testing efforts on small/medium scale projects and
coordinate testing resources
       Assists in training and/or mentoring test analysts.
       Other duties as required.

Special Skills/Qualifications:

 •         4+ years Facets experience
•         4 years test analyst experience
•         At least 2 years of testing the Facets 4. 5 application
•         Extensive experience in writing test cases for the Facets
4.5 application
•         2 years leading test efforts on small/medium scale projects
and coordinating test resources. Having proven experience in
successfully applying best practices/concepts, utilizing testing tools
and delivering quality products
•         Excellent understanding of standard formal testing
methodologies and a good understanding of the SDLC process.
•         Working knowledge of automation tools and to be able to
determine when to best use these tools
•         Experienced in testing large application updates and working
multiple projects simultaneously.
•         Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
•         Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability and
dedication to meeting aggressive deadlines while ensuring quality
delivery.
•         Excellent interpersonal skills: (e.g., partnering, conflict
management, mentoring), with strong verbal and written communication
skills.
•         Must be comfortable working in team environment as well as
independently, and possess sense of accountability in completing
assignments.
•         Understanding of health care business/delivery process
through work experience in the industry strongly preferred.
•         Software Testing Certification or ITIL a plus.
