6 Months Direct F2F required *Enterprise Java Developer Job Description*** The senior Java Developer will support Partners/Knowledge Management group to design and implement technology solutions for defined business problems related to the management of content assets. We are searching for someone with strong technical and communication skills. Must have a minimum of 5 yrs of Java/J2EE experience, 2 years Maven and Subversion experience, and experience implementing a Business Rule Management product (preferably ILOG). Experience with relational database, XML, and SQL is required. *Requirements: * - Minimum 5 years experience of Java development - Understanding of J2EE including open source frameworks, n-tier architecture, object oriented Analysis and Design - Fundamental understanding of web applications, data models and relational databases (preferably SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle); - Experience utilizing continuous integration environments (maven, continuum, archiva) and comprehensive xUnit, e.g. JUnit, testing and TDD (test driven development); - Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), SOAP, Web Services - Research and Development experience (R&D) - Solid understanding of technologies including: Java, Maven, Subversion, JSP, PHP, JSTL, Servlet, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, XML/XSLT, Log4j, SQL, JMeter, JUnit, Eclipse, Ant, SVN *Technology: * - Experience with Java development tools; - Experience with Tomcat or JBoss or other application server desired - Designs, develops, modifies, and implements middleware software components on application servers to be used on web or n-tier applications - Develops and assesses technical architecture, design, and framework - Contributes to the overall software development lifecycle including: requirements gathering/analysis, design, development technologies, release/version control, testing, and deployment - Develops technical specifications and documentation - Performs application testing of components, modifications, and overall systems - Develops user documentation for applications - Assists in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing - Reviews the work of other peers on project teams. - Works in close partnership with other team members and other teams.
