This person will be responsible for learning our current environment (whose tools include; svn, maven, archiva, and artifactory) and making suggestions for potential improvements to allow for flexibility and scalability. *Success Attributes:* Ø Previous J2EE build manager experience Ø Strong shell scripting skills and experience Ø Excellent communication skills Ø Excellent attention to detail Ø In depth knowledge of Subversion and Maven * * *Essential Functions:* Ø Develop software freeze, build, package, and delivery scripts using shell scripting, Subversion, and Maven. Ø Work with various J2EE development teams to perform formal software freezes and releases for distributed applications. Ø Work with development teams and CBAF (business area) to perform QA and Production software build, package, and delivery for software releases. Ø Design, document, implement, and enforce software release management policies and processes. Ø Install, configure, maintain, and administer Subversion version control software and configuration management tools. Ø Provide technical support and training for version control and configuration management tools. Ø Work with management, Audit, and Information Security to insure compliance with FRB standards. Ø Work toward ongoing improvement of FedACH software release management processes. Ø Advise developers and management on optimal release management and source code repository practices.
