*Location:* Irving, TX *Duration:* 4+ Months *Pay Range: $50/HR * *Description:** *SAP Solution Manager Consultant - Work with the business client, contractor engagement teams, and project team members to promote a Solution Manager-based approach to nSAP project team development life cycle challenges. - Support nSAP Solution definition and maintenance, including robust business process structures within new nSAP Implementation projects to support new business process deployment. - Work with the business client, contractor engagement teams, and project team members to gather requirements for Solution Manager-based projects within the targeted deployment effort in support of above. - Implement Solution Manager-based functional areas, working with the Solution Management manager, nSAP Architect, nSAP Basis team, and nSAP project team to design, configure, and test proposed solutions for Solution Manager-based projects for the project team in the development D20 Solution Manager instance. - Prepare, communicate, and execute cut-over plans to deploy Solution Manager functional areas (Help Desk, Solution Monitoring, Business Process monitoring, CTS+, CHARM, etc.) to the production P20 Solution Manager instance, once tested and approved, to support nSAP project team needs. - Prepare, communicate, deploy and support Solution Manager Implementation projects, Maintenance projects, and Upgrade projects, as needed to support nSAP functional project needs in production P20. - Support VSO-SC Solution definition and maintenance, including robust business process structures for new VSO-SC-based business process deployment, as practicable, based on work load. - Provide technical leadership and direction to deliver a consistent SAP Solution Manager Solution to client and SAP for both landscapes. - Assist with deployment of nSAP Solution Manager Security role profiles, including requirements gathering, role testing, and alignment of roles across the nSAP project team. - Responsible for consistent implementation, maintenance and testing of Solution Manager based functionality in the development Solution Manager instance before deployment. - Provide knowledge transfer and training, where required, to project team and business customer/client to operate within a Solution-Manager centric operation. - Coordinate with Basis team on technical implementation requirements. *Required Skills:* • Minimum of five (5) years of SAP Project experience. • Minimum of two (2) years of SAP Solution Manager Project experience • One (1) year of experience with Solution Manager EHP1 preferred • Global enterprise environment preferred • SAP Enhancement pack implementation experience valued • CRM, SRM, SCM, and GTS experience from a Solution Manager standpoint valued • Minimum two (2) full lifecycle implementations with SAP Solution Manager projects. • Demonstrated experience with both implementation and maintenance projects required. • Demonstrated experience with upgrade projects highly valued. • SAP BASIS or SAP SECURITY background valued, including direct experience in SAP Solution Manager security. • Demonstrated SAP Solution Manager Deployment experience in: Technical Solution Documentation • direct ‘hands-on’ experience documenting ‘live’ SAP installations highly valued Help Desk Solution Monitoring CHARM, CTS+, and other Solution Manager functional deployment experience valued • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal and collaborative skills; and the ability to communicate Solution/Scenario/Business Process concepts to technical and non technical audiences. • Demonstrated skill to Interact with project management, contractor engagement teams, and business customer to meet all release planning requirements. • Ability to conduct knowledge transfer workshops and training. • Must work well effectively in a multi-disciplinary global team environment. • Project management experience is a plus, but not required. • General familiarity with the different SAP components/modules and business processes.
