They support internet/intranet business at HSBC – writing scripts, monitoring alerts, etc. If something goes wrong with the Websphere Application Server there is a team that supports that, however, if there is an issue with on one of the Websphere Application Server tools, this is the group that fixes it. A daily scenario would consist of, for example, an HSBC calling up this consultant and saying “I would like to see how many times these connections can get up to 50 per day, can you write a script that will make this happen?” This person needs to have great communication because they will be talking with users and will need to write/gather requirements accordingly.
