*Position #1* *Oracle DBA* *Rate is $50/hr on C2C* * * Senior Oracle Database Developer with heavy emphasis on OLTP and Batch Processing environment. Must have: * Experience in Oracle 9i or 10g * Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development, and tuning using standard Oracle tools such as SQL*Plus * Excellent grasp of basic Oracle concepts * Basic understanding of UNIX environments * Experience using source control software such as Subversion, CVS, or AccuRev. * Experience in high availability (24x7) and high throughput transactional systems * Experience with batch processing using Oracle external tables, bulking techniques, and partitioning * Ability to create functional requirements and technical designs from business requirements * Experience working and interacting with a Java development team * Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin or ER/Studio. * Strong knowledge and use of SDLC methodologies, standards, and procedures with experience in promoting database changes from development through production environments. * Excellent problem solving skills * Skills to be able to effectively communicate functional or design requirements * Experience working in large teams and able to collaborate efficiently. * Experience with internationalization including handling of different localization data formats is a plus * Experience in UNIX shell programming is a plus.
