*Title: *Software Engineer (C++, C, Java and SQL Developers) *Contract Length: *6+ months *Location: *Los Angeles, CA *Local or nearby candidates who can come for F2F Interview with own expenses only * *Position Summary* Looking for a Software Engineer who has strong computer science fundamentals. Responsibilities include the specification, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of client-server software applications utilizing C++, C, Java, and SQL. The software developer will be responsible for solving intriguing problems with our latest technology, and partner with other team members, customers, and vendors throughout the entire project lifecycle. *Qualifications* - BS in Computer Science or related field. MS in Computer Science or related field is a plus. - Five or more years of experience developing software applications with C++, C and Java. - Experience developing multithreaded and client-server software systems is a plus. - Familiarity with SQL, Unix, Perl and shell scripting is a plus. - Strong problem solving and analytical skills. - Excellent written/verbal communication skills. - Local area only. *Additional Requirements* - Good analytical skills, detail oriented, quick study, and self-motivated. - Able to work independently with effective time management in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. - Ability to multitask within an environment of rapidly changing priorities. - Proactively solve problems and work effectively in a team environment. - Experience with analysis and support of production/live systems a plus. - Must be willing to work occasional extended/flexible hours.
