*Job Title : Network Engineer* *Location : Chicago, IL* *Duration : 6+ Months* *LOCALS HIGHLY PREFERRED* *Skills:* This position is responsible for Systems Architecture and Support on various applications including the following responsibilities: *Essential Duties and Responsibilities*: · Ability to work on large and complex Linux, Unix, AIX and HP-UX environments. · Expertise in configuring and administering Websphere versions 6.1 through 7.0 · Expertise in IHS configuration and support · Firewall rules implementation for applications. Turning application requirements and assessing firewall rules. · Strong knowledge of networking skills · Expertise in web concepts i.e. integrations form web layer through DB layers. · Expertise in SSO technologies and Active directory integrations. · Expertise in SSL certificate implementation and Keystore maintenance. · Ability to be on call 24x7 Performs other related duties as assigned. *Desired Qualifications:* · Integrates knowledge of existing application architecture, technical standards, and business problems to create strategies and plans to solve the business problems using technological solutions. · Strong problem solving and analytical skills. · Ability to work in a team environment and share workloads. · Experience working on large and complex projects · Experience working with clients at various levels. · Strong communication skills. · Good documentation skills · Strong self-starter, able to work independently, and have good communication and organizational skills · Experience leading project tasks, making sure tasks are completed on time. · Experience forecasting time for the projects · Experience working on the BMO environment in order to effectively communicate and coordinate tasks with BMO partners. Experience: 5-7 years of professional level experience in two or more environments (e.g., Linux and windows), midrange systems, and client/server, databases, networks, communication methods and/or tools; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in a related area required. Complexity of Work: Moderately routine; general policies applied.
