*MUST HAVE*:
· 5+ years experience as a MicroStrategy Architect and Developer
with direct experience with latest MicroStrategy 9+ platform (preferably
v9.02) with emphasis on complex objects, reports, intelligence cubes, and
dashboards.
· Extensive experience with optimizing performance for the base
architecture through development and deployment.
· Experience with Administration such as establishing user
groups/users, configuration, and installing upgrades
· Experience with Narrowcast/ Distribution Services
· Experience with Enterprise Manager
· 5 – 10 years experience with data warehouse design and development
· Strong SQL expertise
· Strong communication skills and ability to work with business
analysts to capture requirements
· Four year technical degree
*ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS*:
· Certification in MicroStrategy as an Architect, Report Developer,
and/or Document Developer
· Experience with MicroStrategy – Microsoft Office
· Experience with customization through MicroStrategy SDK.
· Experience with using a Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services
(SSAS) cube as a source for MicroStrategy.
· Experience with MS SQL Server 2008 Database and development tools
such as SSIS (for ETL) and SSAS (for OLAP)
· Experience with complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
· Knowledge of Electric Power industry
