The new system will replace the current mainframe and Oracle systems, which have been built incrementally over time. The system utilizes IBM Cognos BI 10.1, TM1 9.5.2, and FileNet 4.5.1, and will incorporate custom Java forms, portal, and authentication solutions. This position will support the Budget System Project Team in the overall application architecture and provide oversight in developing successful solutions that meet the business requirements. Specifically, this position will assist OSBM in defining the appropriate solution for back-end system integration of the tools listed above, developing a robust end-user experience, and making the best use of Cognos BI and TM1 capabilities for budgeting and performance management. *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:* *Required:* • Current hands-on experience with TM1 (Turbo Integrator and multi-dimensional data modeling), Cognos BI report development, and data warehousing • Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience in a clearly-defined technical architecture role • Minimum of five (5) years of overall IT-related experience(Or equivalent combination of training and experience) *Ability To:* • Organize and document complex system designs and to follow detailed project plans • Work independently with minimal supervision • Mentor junior-level staff in solving technical issues and applying best practices, particularly with Cognos BI and TM1. • Manage small, technical sub-projects of medium complexity and provide concise and accurate reporting to management • Consult with non-technical business users, higher-level business professionals, technical staff, and other consultants to elicit their input and capture it in clear and concise project documentation. *Working Knowledge In The Following Areas:* • Java or other external applications interacting with Cognos BI and TM1 via the SDK. • FileNet, particularly the workflow engine. • Oracle databases. *Preferred / Highly Desired:* • Cognos BI Professional Author or Developer Certifications • TM1 Modeler or Application Developer Certifications *NOTE:* We have multiple opportunities with the same skill set, would appreciate if you could refer any of your friends/associates/colleagues.
