*Responsibility Overview*
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Business Intelligence Developer/
Architect to fill a senior role as part of our Information Delivery
team
providing advanced reporting and analytics expertise to Client’s $2.5B North
American Service Business.
This a “hands-on” role and will include responsibilities for the design,
development, deployment and ongoing support of Oracle Business Intelligence
Enterprise Edition (OBIEE, formerly Siebel Analytics) supporting a large
Siebel 8.0 CRM Field Service application environment integrated with Oracle
Enterprise Business Suite (EBS Financials).
The BI Developer/ Architect will be engaged in the entire Information
Delivery lifecycle from definition of BI strategy through on-going support.
Candidates must have broad experience with the various aspects of a
successful and dynamic Business Intelligence Information Delivery program
and well-developed skills with the required tools. This experience must
include Data Warehouse architecture design and development, ETL from
multiple varied data sources, design of hierarchies, dimensions, and
aggregates, as well as the development of the presentation layer via
reports, metrics, and dashboards.
This role involves significant interaction with all levels of the business
organization (both technical and non-technical) to gather business
requirements, evaluate concepts, and present solutions. Excellent
presentation, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
*Qualifications:*
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Siebel CRM and Oracle EBS with strong
emphasis on Siebel Analytics/OBIEE, RPD, and Analytics Data Warehouse.
Strong working knowledge and experience with ETL tools. Informatica
preferred.
Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence tools including Impromptu,
Powerplay, Transformer, and Cognos 8.0 Framework Manager, Report Studio,
Analysis Studio, Event Studio, Metrics Studio is a plus.
Complete understanding of data warehouse
architecture,normalized/denormalized, star schemas, snowflakes.
Analytical, detail oriented, organized, creative thinker and problem solver.
Demonstrated ability to function in a lead role, enlisting the cooperation
and support of other team members, while also being a strong individual
contributor.
Desire and ability to share knowledge and develop skills in other team
members.
Ability to be effective in a fast paced environment, adapt easily to
changing priorities.
Self-starter, self directed, able to work in a structured or unstructured
environment.
