*JOB SUMMARY - Release Integration Analyst (Project Coordinator)*

In this role, you will act as a key resource in the Release Management group
of the S2S Program of St. Jude Medical. You will be responsible for
integration management and the effective execution of cutover activities
within S2S program. This includes planning and coordination of approved
changes to the production environment by partnering with internal
operational groups to understand implications, risks and impacts to the
business in promoting these changes to the productive environment. In
addition, you will be a member of the Change Control team ensuring
continuity of service to the Global Competency Center (GCC) by ensuring
compliance in the execution of code migrations for approved Change Requests.



*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*
Release Management
Leads activities for SAP Release projects; following a consistent,
communicated, planned process that provides a flexible strategy adapting to
the business needs.
• Creating project timeline for data and code migrations, between various
landscapes, escalating any contention issues identified.
• Responsible for scheduling of various Release sessions and facilitates the
weekly project team status meetings.
• Track and report project status including identifying, categorizing and
escalating project issues that require management attention.
• Ensures effective communication channels exist between divisional and
functional team resources regarding Release project activities.
Identify and develop detailed cutover project plans for Major Release and
Minor Site Implementations.
Works cross-functionally with Project Management, SAP Core Team and
Functional Managers in implementing project cutover plans for the Major
Releases and Minor Site Implementations.
Responsible for coordinating various SAP outages; identifying integration
points and working closely to communicate and engage IT and business
partners as needed.
Assist Release Manager in monitoring, tracking, executing Quarterly
Enhancement Release efforts.
• Serve as backup resource for tracking and managing the quarterly release
scope, schedule and cutover plan; (i.e. approving Design Change Requests,
leading weekly lead meetings as needed).
• Assist in the execution of quarterly release cutover activities to both
the Quality Assurance and Productive environments.
Serves as coordinator during outages for monthly maintenance/releases,
quarterly enhancements minor site implementations as needed.

*Change Control*
Conducts information system process analysis to ensure the proper management
and implementation of changes to the production environment.
• Analyzes and coordinates changes to the production environment to ensure
these do not adversely impact the company’s ability to meet published
customer service level agreements.
• Reviews Change Requests to ensure that all requirements and standards are
enforced and properly categorized according to established guidelines.
• Evaluates the impacts and risks of changes from multiple perspectives,
assigns tasks that are necessary to reduce or eliminate those risks,
determines tentative implementation dates, and tracks results of the
implementation.
• Review transport requests for naming conventions,
consistency/dependencies, transport groups, proper timing and release for
import with the SAP system.
• Serves in a backup capacity to the Sr.Change Management Analyst,
facilitating CCB meetings, distributing change communications and engaging
with the relevant IT groups as Change Management liason.
• Perform general process and technical trouble-shooting for supporting
Change Management software applications

*Other Duties*
Operates without appreciable direction within the scope and breadth of
release and change management activities.
Maintain a good relationship with managers and directors and stay informed
on the goals, objectives and overall business requirements of the
organization.
Performs related functions and responsibilities as assigned.
Accountability/Supervision
Responsible for the ensuring successful planning and execution of integrated
Release cutover activities and Change Management outages for the S2S
program.
Relationships
Interacts with the internal team members and the division business
customers.
