*COBOL Interface Analyst position* *5-8 Months* * * *Kansas City, MO* Description :Elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users. Serve as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team via clearly documented functional, system and process requirements. Consulting team member on client or internal assignments for product implementation, enhancement or integration projects. Works on a variety of problems, some of complex scope, where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Brings 3-5 years of experience in software design, technical product support or consulting. COBOL Interface Analyst position on ClaimFacts and Facets version 4.81/5.0. This resource will minimally perform the following duties: Analyst activities include, but are not limited to: 1. Generating “current state” functional and technical design documents based on reviewing and reverse-engineering existing ClaimFacts COBOL interfaces, extracts and reports (a.k.a ClaimFacts COBOL solutions) 2. Assisting with generation of “future state” functional and technical design documents for Facets-centric interfaces, extracts and reports (a.k.a Facets solutions) to replace existing ClaimFacts COBOL solutions 3. Assisting with ClaimFacts data staging activities necessary to support testing of Facets solutions 4. Providing troubleshooting and defect resolution support based on analysis of existing COBOL solutions Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: 1. 5 plus years ClaimFacts or COBOL development experience 2. Experience with generating functional and technical design documentation 3. Experience with ClaimFacts or Facets is a plus 4. Must be comfortable working directly with business and IT resources 5. Travel to client site (Kansas City, MO) required for client facing work with the project team up to 100% of the time.
