C/C++ Java/J2EE XML Tomcat Apache Unix shell scripting Oracle JOB REQUIREMENTS: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field and six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate software development experience in an information technology environment. Stated experience shall include: C/C++, Java/J2EE, XML, Struts, Tomcat, Apache, Unix shell scripting, Oracle, Sybase, and client-server/n-tier based architecture in Unix. Excellent database management background. Good understanding of Oracle databases with working knowledge of PL/SQL. Candidate shall demonstrate excellent knowledge of webservice development with good familiarity with SOAP/REST protocols. Very good understanding of the WSDL, XSD and XML. Ability to understand the webservice specifications and consume those webservices by writing custom client applications. Great passion for documentation. Knowledge of ETL tools like Ab Initio GDE, Talend and COTS billing products like Portal Billing Infranet, will be a big plus. Any domain knowledge of billing, collections, commitments system will be a great add though not essential. Candidate shall be very comfortable with Agile software development methodology.
