Initial focus will be on Installing IBMs Operational Decision Manger v8 (Decision Center, and Decision Server Rules). This analyst will also participate in assisting with migration of existing JRules 7.0.2 applications to ODM v8. As a 3rd level production support analyst, this individual will be expected to participate in incident resolution and problem determination/root cause analysis for events related to Decision Server Events, Decision Server Rules, JRules 7.0.2, Decision Center, and potentially zRES (Rules execution server on z/OS). This analyst will also participate in product maintenance and upgrade projects. Normal hours are standard business hours with the expectation of rotating off-shift, remote support (pager/cell phone) availability. Minimum skills: • Service Orientated Architecture • J2EE development. • JRules 7.0.2 or later • Rules Team Server • Decision Validation Services • Websphere Business Events 7.0 or later. Additional Desired Skills: • Experience with Websphere Operation Decision Manager 7.5 or later including o Decision Center o Rules Server o Event Server • IBM Rules for Z a plus Relevant experience: • Developing rules based applications utilizing JRules 7.0.2 or later version • Utilizing Rues applications both embedded and as a service • Developing Event applications using Websphere Business Events 7.0 or later • Migrating production applications from JRules 7.0.2 to Websphere Operational Decision Manager v7.5 or later. • Must be comfortable servicing as a mentor. • Must be able to provide product best practices and usage patterns based upon State Farm’s business needs.
