Position: Sr. Cognos BI Reporting Analyst/Developer w/ Oracle EBS Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6-9 months+ Client Location: Renton, WA OPPORTUNITY: Requesting an Oracle EBS and Cognos BI Reporting Analyst/Developer. A technical analyst to join a collaborative, customer-focused IT team for a short-term assignment (6-9 months). Customer is implementing a full suite of integrated finance functionality to all international entities within the company over a multi-year phased release. The customer leverages Oracle's E-Business Finance Suite COTS package and will provide a rapidly deployable, highly integrated enterprise-wide solution that will contain procurement, receivables, inventory management, and accounting functions. Candidate will support critical requirements, design, code, and testing in support of providing Reporting Functionality for an implementation planned for January 2014. Required Skills: · Candidate will be responsible for developing *COGNOS BI reporting and Ad-hoc querying solution against Oracle EBS database.* · Must have at least *5-7 years of solid COGNOS BI Reporting experience* · They must be proficient in *Cognos Report Studio, Query Studio, and Framework Manage*r · Must have experience with creating Oracle views, creating metadata models using Framework Manager and creating complex reports using Report Studio. · Must have at least *2-3 years in Oracle EBS* · Resource must be knowledgeable and have hands-on experience in business intelligence concepts, methodologies and processes, and is expected to work in a cross functional environment across multiple Oracle EBS modules *including General Ledger, Project Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets. * · Resource is expected to understand reporting requirements, and design specification, and translate them into complex Cognos Reports. · They are also expected to write test cases, perform testing and document test results.
