So, good communication skills and documentation skills are key for the success. *Position: Sr. ETL Developer** Location:Santa Monica, CA Duration: Fulltime* Experience & Skills: · Must have 8 – 10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and testing ETLprograms independently using Informatica and SSIS in Oracle and SQL Server DB environments. · Ability to Code, test, debug, schedule, implement and document complex ETLprograms Using Informatica 9.5 ETL tool suite. · Strong knowledge on various ETL architectures and ability to establish best practices. · Experience in Data warehouse systems and its related implementations using Informatica like slowly changing dimensions, Fact tables, aggregation tables · Experience in data modelingusing ErWin data modeling tool. · Must have extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries in Oracle 10gand 11g DB · Experience in performance tuning of slowly performing data loads/ ETLs · Strong experience in Developing test plans and quality assurance tests to ensure data integrity · Experience in Shell scripting – UNIX, Linux. · Support Operations and/or project personnel in resolving project/production problems. · Strong problem solving skills. · Experience with Agile/Scrum very desirable. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills; works well in a team environment. Responsibilities include: · Gather and analyze requirements from Client’s business units.Work closely with business analysts, Systems Analysts and other team members. · Design, develop, test, debug and deploy complex ETL programs Using Informatica9.5 ETL tool suite adhering to best practices. · Establish processes and audits to ensure Data Integrity and SLAs. · Provide estimates for development effort for projects and report status updates. · Assist and Guide other junior team members as needed to ensure quality results and project success. · Triage and fix issues that occur in existing production systems. · Provide timely status updates to manager and/or team lead. · Document and maintain Source to Target mappings and traceability. · Work closely with reporting Team members to discuss and meet the reporting delivery requirements with respect to Data base designs.
