*Title:* *BI test lead* posted on 2013-08-28 15:14:58 *Job Description:* ** *Job Title: BI Test Lead * Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 12 Months contact *Job Description:* Strong exposure to ERP/Data warehouse projects and MUST possess hands-on experience writing SQL queries for data validation. - Exposure to BI apps will be a huge plus. - Must have exposure to one of the ETL toolsets like Informatica, Data stage or SSIS. - Must have exposure to one of the reporting toolsets like OBIEE, Microstrategy or Cognos, SSRS. - Must write test cases based on specs, and expand test coverage via performing white-box testing. - Execute test cases and log defects. - Work with the development team to document, root cause, and resolve outstanding bugs. *Job Summary and Mission: * · Establishing and sustaining quality assurance processes, practices, methods, tools and controls in support of application and system requirement, development and test activities throughout the software development and sustainment lifecycles. Supervises and performs complex system and problem analysis. · Provides guidance to other analysts, developers and testers. *Skills and Abilities:* · Organization and planning skills. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. · Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail. · Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities. Technical systems knowledge. Ability to manage numerous concurrent activities and tasks under time constraints. · Ability to and instruct and educate others on developing applicable test plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts.
