Job Title: Field Services – DOT (Hands & Feet)
Location: Traverse City / Cadillac area, MI
Duration: Fulltime

Job Description:
·                     4+ years in a Field Services support environment.
·                     Hardware knowledge on HP\IBM servers.
·                     HP certified (preferred, required within 90 days of
hire).
·                     Hardware knowledge on Storage devices.
·                     Hardware knowledge on Network devices like Router,
Switch etc.
·                     Responsible to provide L2 hands and Feet support for
all hardware equipment in Data Center.
·                     Serve as the Hand and Eyes for technical support
groups.
·                     Conduct daily maintenance and reporting.
·                     Conduct clear and effective two-way communication,
verbal and electronic, with team members and vendors as well as, internal
and external customers.
·                     Co-ordinate with Vendor / OEM for spares &
replacements.
·                     Co-ordinate with internal resolver groups.
·                     Racks and stacks servers and network equipment into
cabinets
·                     Performs installation of wiring, patch panel and
network switch, hub, and console.
·                     Reconnect/Replace power cables, network cables (LAN
and ILO cables), SCSI cables (if needed), external backup units (if
present).
·                     Knowledge of Installation of wireless equipment.
·                     Installs power PDU’s, and server power connections.
·                     Installing, configuring, monitoring APC, UPS’s.
·                     ITIL Foundation (preferred)
·                     Strong customer skills.
·                     Excellent communication skills.
·                     Should be willing to work on-call shifts.
·                     Required to travel on a daily basis to provide field
services support to customer offices across state of Michigan.
·                     Required to work on-call rotation.
·                     Required to perform project or break/fix afterhours.
