*Title:* *SAP HANA Architect* posted on 2013-09-11 12:14:35 *Job Description:*Job Title: SAP HANA Architect City: Houston State: Texas Duration : 6 + months The SAP HANA Architect provides technical expertise of SAP Data Warehouse and in memory computing (SAP HANA) products. A need exists to architect solutions that will facilitate the ongoing support, integration, and creation of enterprise solutions for our clients. Although customer facing work within multiple team settings is common, an ability to delivery independent consulting solutions is expected. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for providing architecture guidance, solution development and product deployment of company managed SAP BI solutions (Primarily within HANA architecture), architecture, security, and HA/DR components. • Partner with Enterprise Architecture, technical and operational teams to make recommendations on preferred solutions. • Communicate and advocate adherence to defined application architecture strategy. • Develop solution architectures and roadmaps in conjunction with business process partners and strategy teams. • Lead technical integration efforts for enterprise technologies and other SAP products such as SAP HANA OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Replication scenarios on SAP landscape transformation (SLT) or Sybase Replication Server with operational reporting or data mart scenario - HANA Modeling, Optimization. • SAP BW HANA modeling and optimization scenarios including Hybrid scenarios. • Provide SAP HANA integration design with Big Data tools knowledge like Hadoop etc. • Design and architecture guidance for Business Suite on HANA and all HANA products. • Understand the business scenario and use case building as intermediary to projects. • Database modeling and Star Schema is preferred. • SAP BI (Business Objects) 4.0 / SAP BW 7.3 / BWA experience shall be preferred. • Hands on writing SQL scripts, User exits, should have ABAP knowledge. • Development as necessary with BODS / ETL / SQL Script Tool • Document and capture business requirements and pain areas • Direct involvement on projects QUALIFICATIONS: • Certified SAP HANA Architect with one or more HANA projects or Pilots experience. • Extensive SAP BW Architecture experience designing global data warehouses. • Substantial experience in SAP BW (including 7.x experience on BO reporting tools). • LSA & BW 7.3 (HANA) required. • HANA security configuration / risk management or comparable experience. • Solid understanding of HANA functional architecture / infrastructure. • In depth knowledge of data sourcing replication of SAP and non-SAP Data into HANA. • BW 3.5 architecture experience. • Must have excellent knowledge of relational data modeling and data warehousing models. • Strong knowledge of R/3-ECC Extraction in the areas of Finance, Supply Chain, SD/MM/PP -Logistics, and HR. • SQL in both SAP/non-SAP environments • Project management with hands on mentality. • According SAP certifications. • Opt. performance management . • Opt. LSA++; SLT.
