* Role : QA - Analyst * *Location: MN* *Duration : Long Term* *Interview: face2face interview and Skype if candidate is not local* Job Description for QA - Analyst III • Serve as lead for small QA team – implementing and ensuring best practices are followed within the team • Testing product in Agile environment • Define & Build Test plans and operating model with the interfacing teams • Build Acceptance criteria along with scrum team • Validate acceptance criteria / test execution • Ability to manage testing in large organization o Functional o Integration • Work with software developers to develop test specifications and build test cases to rigorously test product functionality and investigate all potential product test failures. • Follow BBY standards for software tools and assist in automated testing. • Verify and validate bug fixes. • Determine appropriate tools and techniques for test planning, execution and reporting • Document test procedures to ensure replicability. • Identify and test areas impacted by software changes. • Perform product specific regression tests. • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and methodologies • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Not afraid to ask questions and challenge • Solid attention to detail / Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Previous test case authoring experience • Previous test case execution experience • Management of defects experience Daily Duties: Daily Scrum, building test cases, testing them, managing any defects. Hard Skills Needed: - QA Analyst experience progressing to QA Lead - 8-10 years QA Experience - Will Have manual and automated testing experience - Experience with testing and recognizing defects - Experience with an Off-shore team - Management experience – preferred - Agile Experience – MUST Soft Skills Needed: 1.
